Rachel holds more than 14 years of experience working in corporate communications and stakeholder engagement, with senior expertise in the communication of science and government policy. For over 7 years she held the position of Principal Adviser, Community Engagement at the South Australian Environment Protection Authority (EPA). Rachel has also operated her own stakeholder engagement consultancy and worked for another leading Australian engagement consultancy.

Rachel has managed risk communication and engagement strategies for complex regulated sites, communities affected by site contamination, and environmental issues with human health impacts. She has provided high level strategic communication and engagement advice to government on projects of state significance, including large-scale water, rail and road infrastructure projects.

Rachel has worked across government and in Ministerial offices to achieve environmental and social outcomes in both South Australia and New South Wales. In the private sector Rachel has worked in both finance and the oil and gas sectors.
